I woke up cold.  Not just the 'oooh, my face is cold' niceness, but 'oh crap, it's FREEZING in here' cold.  I was happy (but cold) because that signals to me that no matter if it is going to be 75 degrees outside, it is still Fall.  (I was beginning to wonder with all the 80+ temps going on!)

The midwest, particularly Kansas City, has a beautiful fall, if not usurped by a late summer/early winter.  We have so many trees and gorgeous parks, it's lovely to walk around.  We have pumpkin patches galore and places to get cider and apples.

And...they say that although it's beautiful, we are only about 1/4 of the way done changing colors!!!  More to come!
