Oil Cleansing Method: Day 1

I'm officially addicted to Pinterest....and whilst I'm creeping around on everyone's page for new ideas, I came across this face cleanser tip that I've decided to try.

It's no secret that I'm 31 and still get zits, although I am VERY good about cleaning my face at least twice a day, and using good products in my makeup and cleansing choice.  I'm so sick of getting blackheads and whiteheads, and age spots.  I am so jealous of those people who don't have to wear makeup everyday.  I would love to have clear, smooth skin, prompting this effort.

Basically, the idea is that it's best to cleanse with some type of oil (from what I gather).  I promise you, I read it completely, but I am way too tired to summarize with all the dermatologist findings.

So, for oily skin, one should use a mixture of 30% Castor Oil to 70% Sunflower/Olive Oil.  For normal skin, 20% to 80%; and for dry skin, 10% to 90%.  The theory is that castor oil has anti-inflammatory properties, and is drying, thus needing to be diluted from another healthy, thinner oil.

I'm going to be doing exactly what the website suggests, and although my skin might be a little oily for the first few days, it should be cleared from blackheads and more balanced after that.  We'll see!!!!
